There are Christians Everywhere

We live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, which is a wonderful city. If you aren't familiar with Tennessee, you won't know that there are SO. MANY. CHURCHES here. Tennessee is known as the belt buckle of the Bible belt. And most of those churches are Christian.

Here in the south, you hear phrases like, "Bless his little heart", "I'll be praying for you", and "You need Jesus". It's normal to hear about worship services and what so and so did on the weekend. This is one of the many reasons why I love where I live.

Another great thing about where we live, particularly due to our closeness to Nashville, there are many opportunities to see live performances of some of the biggest Christian bands in the industry.

It was for that reason, that my family and I visited a megachurch back in April, called the World Outreach Church.

On Easter weekend, For King and Country came and performed after the worship services on the Saturday before Easter Sunday. THOUSANDS of people were there! A lot was going on, and with all the crowds around, it was kind of overwhelming to take it all in.

During the sermon (which was really good, by the way) the pastor shared a beautiful message about Christians all over the world, and how we're all "one" in Christ. As I sat and looked around at the thousands of other Christians around me, I felt this incredible sense of power that comes with a majority.

I have felt that feeling before, while attending General Conference in both the Tabernacle back in the day, and the Conference Center. To be around so many others that believe as I do, is a humbling experience.

In the world where sometimes us Christians may feel picked on or alone, we only need to remember that we may not see congregations of believers, but they are out there! There are so many people in this world that believe in Christ, and are trying to follow Him.

Though the world is so good at making it feel like us Christians are small and inferior, we are not! For Christ is with us! He loves us, and He has promised that He will always be with us.

And He is.
